My narrative

My Narrative

What's up bloggers!, For a few weeks we have been writing about a car sinking for our narrative. Our teachers said we could make it up, the time and where the place was set. After we wrote the story our teacher Miss Abedin made us do it on a story starter because she wanted us to know what a story starter looks like. So we started. I did a family and the son and daughter were coming from work and the son was driving home and his car rolled into the sea and after a second he was floating. And he felt scary and ran home. If you want to see the full story tap this link and also that's all I have for you bloggers so blog you later!

Art people.

Our Art People

Hey bloggers last week and this week we have been doing some visual art. The art was based on a Sri Lankan girl and the boy was an Afghan boy. The reason why we did the art is because when the whole school is done we are going to put it on the gate that goes up the backtrack. This will represent the different cultures in our school, and our respect for all people. This is how we made it:

  • We were given the small drawing template which we had to design the cultural outfits on.
  • To do this, we had to search for images on the internet, then use these to draw our patterns and clothing styles.
  • Once we had all finished, we had to select which to use. Two were chosen for the girl, and two for the boy.
  • Then we had to redraw the people, using the designs selected, blended together.
Transferring the designs to the boards:
  • We got a girl and traced around her so we would have the same height and length.
  • After we traced around her, our teachers drew the patterns. When the teachers were done they put us in groups and we would have to paint and the first class to be finished in the whole school is Haumia, it is in room 9.
So yeah that's all I have for you - blog you later.

shapes

Hey bloggers in week 5 when Te Waka Ako went on camp some people went to Te Ana Ako. At Te An Ako we drew little shapes and cut them out. After we cut them out we had to put it the opposite side. When the teacher's gave us a tick we could go and glue it on a piece of paper. Then you had to pick a basic so you could pick different basic's and put it on the your first basic then you had to glue to your basic that you picked out first. Then you had to glue everything on the piece of paper and it will be done. The following day we did waked it was about a game you had to do for maths and you would get a word and you could make a sentence out, and this is the most thing I enjoyed at Te Ana Ako. So that all I have for you bloggers so blog you later.
I have been working on a reflection slidehow for 2019 so far, here is the link here.
